Sunset

Sunset pink and sunset orange;
an everlasting shine of love,
on line of distant sky.

Off lines of wisp of mist,
that fading to the sky, give bliss;
a tender kiss to the eye.

Purple sky hind orange clouds,
hind silhouette of geese that fly;
and 'neath it all the dark shadow
of the trees.

the hurried light of quiet,
before nightfall.
